Appearance
Physical
Nancy is a yellow-skinned woman with red hair, pink lipstick and freckles on both sides of her cheek (the latter of which her daughter inherited).
Attire
Nancy's regular attire consists of a purple tank top, blue jeans, along with a brown belt, and brown boots.
Her biker attire consists of a black vest on top of her regular attire. She may or may not wear a helmet.
Personality
Nancy is a rebellious mother figure for the Green family. She seems to show no care for authority, which is why her son Cricket seems to look up to her. Like Cricket, she has a dislike for responsibilities. However, she will show parenting like any other mom when it comes to disciplining her kids, though most of the time, she'll let them roam free in the Big City.
Abilities
Talents
- Riding: Nancy has her own motorcycle which she uses for transport; she can also pull off some tricks on it. She has also made the kids their own dirt bike, though said bike was destroyed by the end of the episode.
- Baseball skills: Being a fan of the sport, Nancy sports some top-notch skills in the game of baseball, being able to throw very fast pitches and score easy home runs for The Sue-Zers.
- Music/singing: Nancy has dabbled into the world of karaoke in "Okay Karaoke", singing a heavy metal song.
Weaknesses
- Recklessness and general disregard for authority: Nancy is known for being very reckless. This attitude of her's, plus her general disregard for authority, has caused her to be arrested and sent to jail by Keys quite a lot.
- Bad influence: Being rebellious has its downsides, especially when this rebel is the mother figure. A notorious example of this happened when Cricket, wanting to follow in his mother's footsteps, set loose all the animals in the Big City Zoo, despite Nancy clearly not wanting him to do so (also because Nancy wouldn't do it, period). In addition, her song is shown to make Cricket want to destroy stuff.

Trivia
- In "Cricket Versus", it's revealed that in between her and Bill's wedding and honeymoon, she wrestled a wolverine.
- She shares the name of an American model who is a storyteller, cook, activist, and the first of several African-American models hired to promote a corporate trademark as "Aunt Jemima".
- She also shares the same first and last name of one of the people who carried the torch in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
- She also shares some simlarties to Nancy Gribble from the animated sitcom, king of the Hill.
- Both are named Nancy and have a last name that starts with "Gr"
- Both have big poofy hair and an angular jawline.
- Both have southern U.S. accent and use " Shug' " as an affectionit nickname for friends and family.
- She is one of few Green family members without a short i sound in her name, along with Metrona, Jerome, Archibald, Marjorie, Cynthia and Herbert.
- She was the only nuclear Green family member who didn't get banned from Sea Fusïon (shown in "Fill Bill"), possibly because she was still in jail during that time.
- As of "Chipwrecked", she was the only member of the Greens who had yet to encounter Chip Whistler and meet Gloria, Andromeda and Gwendolyn Zapp.
- Chip, however, is at least aware of Nancy's existence, because he has a picture of her on his evidence board, and somehow knows the location of her trailer.
- She finally meets Chip for the first time in "Chipocalypse Now".
- The first interaction she had with Gabriella Espinosa after "Gabriella's Fella" is in "Bat Girl".
- She would go on to meet Gloria in "Big Resolution", with further interactions in "Gloria's Café"; she sees Andromeda in "Chipocalypse Now", though doesn't interact with her.
- She got arrested three times. The first time was for selling fake tokens at Joe's Arcade, and the second time was for releasing cows, and the third was for "harassing" Chip in the mayor's office.
- She is the only nuclear Green member who did not appear in any of the shorts.
- She appears in "Christmas Crashers" in chibi form.
- According to Chris Houghton's Tumblr, Nancy was planned to appear later on from the start[1]
- Nancy was the last nuclear Green to learn Cricket has a girlfriend, in "Bat Girl".
- Due to her divorce, Nancy was not involved with a majority of the Green Family Farms' operation in Big City. She would have her first involvement with the farm in "Chipocalypse Now".
